Inspiration

• As we know many people don’t know how to contact to the Ngo’s in their respective cities. So, we have developed a website that will serve as a platform between the user and the local Ngo in their respective cities with contact details and address.

• Due to COVID crisis ,any family member loss , it would be very helpful for family members to be in contact with NGO’s for their help in their difficult time situation

What it does

In this Project we have created a website that will help the local volunteer to reach out to the Ngo’s in their city. • The user will then fill up the form and we will fetch up all the details entered by the user. • Analyzing the details given by the user we will be locating the NGO in his given city. • We will be using his phone number and send him a text message about the Ngo’s location within a minute.

How we built it

Usage : • Pandas • Google Sheet API • Collected NGO's List and Saved in Excel Format • Pywhatkit Library for Sending Whatsapp Notification

Steps Involved :

• Firstly User will visit our site • User need to fill out the form given on the website correctly • After clicking the submit button • User information will save into Google sheet • Through Google sheet API we would be fetching the latest entry columns cell • We would be uploading NGO’s Directory List in our excel sheet • Then through pandas (python) we would be fetching our excel sheet • And we would be finding NGO in specific City through that excel sheet • After that through pywhatkit library we would be sending Notification on whatsapp This way we would be providing Consumer their desired choice NGO’s list

Challenges we ran into

• Finding Correct and Appropriate NGO's List • We were not able to run python scripts with HTML Website • Were facing issues on uploading to live server • Only website was able to run on live server successfully

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our Program is working very accurately • Website Working • Successfully able to store data on google sheet instantly • Data Scrapping • Data collection from Official Sites And Scrapping using Tools • Fetching out data from google sheet • Search for city in our excel directory • Then Sending out whatsapp message within 20seconds • 2000 Working NGO List in Our Area Premises

What's next for NGO’s LOCATOR and FINDER

• To upload python script with HTML on live Server • To make use of messaging API's so that it can send directly without any internet issue • Working on Website for more enhancement
