Inspiration

Finding NGOs online but was unable to find complete details about NGOs, so I just Developed an Application for Others so they could easily find and contact NGOs for help, and Users can also add details about NGOs.

What it does

The application provides complete Details about NGOs and all details are verified from the govt site. Users can find NGOs and start helping. Users can add data about NGOs and after admin confirmation details are updated on the application.

How I built it

I use Kotlin and Firebase for real-time database and SQLite database to store Bookmark NGO data in the Application.

Challenges I ran into

While getting data from Firebase into the application I faced an issue because Firebase does not authorize users to read data and insert data in the Database.

What I learned

I learned how I can use SQLite database in applications and store data locally on the device.

What's next for NGO Finder

Make new features so that users can get notifications about NGO events on the application and add more and more NGO Data.
