Inspiration
- Our idea came to life when a close friend got scammed on a concert ticketing resell. He sent his money but did not get a ticket back.
What it does
- NFTickets provides a secure, transparent and proffitable solution to solve this issues.
How we built it
- We have been working with Solidity to interact with EVM Compatible Blockchains as well as JavaScript, ReactJS and Web3.js for web development. The verification software uses Python with a couple libraries.
Challenges we ran into
- Packages and libraries incompatibilities, scarce information while researching and hard debugging were our major drawbacks in this projects.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- We are delighted to have built all the project in a single day, learning all the necessary languages, frameworks and developing tools to make it happen.
What we learned
- How a real project is structured and deployed as well as version staging and proper branch control in GitHub.
What's next for NFTickets
- We are looking forward to test our MVP in local events and we are planning to extend worldwide as blockchain technologies provide us with tools to do it with minimal effort.
