NFTickets

The power that decentralized applications have to change the way that the web, and the exchange of value/assets work, makes it one of the most exciting technological fields nowadays. NFTs are booming and their applications are almost unlimited, tickets are one use case where these apply beautifully. Our application enables for the minting, purchasing and trading of NFT based tickets. Oracle price feed integration in our smart contract allows for a practical price tagging and assurance based on the US Dollar /MATIC pair, and Keeper networks automate the process of expiring tickets which events have already taken place. This project was built using gold-standard specifications and technologies such as the ERC1155 standard, Polygon Network, Moralis Fast Nodes, ChainLink (Oracles and Keepers) as well as IPFS to enable a fully fledged semi-non-fungible NFT implementation. Given our limited experience and number of members for our team, this project revealed to be extremely challenging but also super exciting, a lot was learnt, connections were made, and most of all we had a lot of fun during the process. Engaging in this project helped us build the foundation for future Hackathons we may participate in, and definitely defined the starting point for our Web3 and dApp development journey.
