Toward Decentralized World

Inspiration

I first got the idea to create NFT Store by looking at the $69 million Beeple's NFT. The piece of art is made from 5,000 tiles merged together into a common canvas. Nowadays, as blockchain technologies are booming around us, NFT means Non-fungible token is emerging vigorously, one of those is NFT Games. The “play-to-earn” movement is a rising phenomenon in gaming, wherein players in NFT games collect rewards within the game that can later be converted to real cash. For that reason, our team is craving to join and apply this new technology so NFT Store is the name we chose. NFT Store offers the solution to create an NFT exchange between collectors. Besides NFT Store, in the near future, NFT Store will be the next product that aims to be a solution for NFT gaming liquidity.

What it does

At this time with the very first beta version, users will be able to create their own NFTs and sell them to others. Additionally, in this version, our team decided to focus primarily on the UI design along with the main features of a regular NFT marketplace. For now, it is available on android/ios.

How we built it

NFT Store is built on the following main parts:

Blockchain: Stellar SDK for Flutter
UI: Flutter
Storage: Filebase

Challenges we ran into

Stellar SDK for Flutter is quite new to us, we are used to building Dapps mostly based on Ethereum or Binance Smart Chain but none of those with Stellar. For that reason, our team ran into some little issues at the first step with Stellar as a new technology Furthermore, we also need to build a whole Platform such as config miner, block time, ... that needs to invest a bunch of time into. With hope in the future, when Stellar’s main net is completed, hopefully, NFT Store can be one of the first applications to set foot on it.

What's next for NFT Store

After completing the NFT marketplace and having the collections sold on the market, we will continue to build the next product that is NFT Dex. Our vision for NFT Dex is a place where collectors can trade and exchange their NFTs. Anyone with an NFT will be able to create a new pool or add their NFTs to an existing pool and get token derivatives in a permission-less way, those tokens can be transferred and traded. Besides, users can also swap their NFT for another NFT of the same pool, no need to tokenize.
