Inspiration

We noticed how internet culture revolves around memes, yet most people can't easily turn their viral creations into digital assets. Inspired by the rise of NFT collectibles and meme economies, we built NFT Meme Factory - a platform that bridges humor and blockchain ownership.

What it does

Create - Drag-and-drop meme editor with templates, text, and AI enhancements Customize - Add NFT traits like glitch effects, pixel art, and crypto-themed elements Publish - Turn finished memes into verifiable digital collectibles on the blockchain Share - Built-in social features to showcase creations

How we built it

Frontend: React.js + Tailwind CSS for responsive design

Backend: Node.js + Firebase for user data and storage

Blockchain: Smart contracts (Solidity) for digital ownership IPFS for decentralized meme storage Polygon integration for low-cost transactions

Challenges we ran into

Gas Fee Frustration - Users balked at high Ethereum fees (solved with Polygon) Copyright Landmines - Had to implement content moderation for copyrighted memes AI Imperfections - Early meme generations were wonky (improved with better training prompts)
