What it does
An NFT Marketplace allows you to mint, sell and buy your favourite NFTs.
How I built it
Fantoms documentation provied a very clear path way of how to construct, deploy and connect my user interface to my blockchain application.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge for me was, the adjustments to a completely new blockchain network I have never worked with before, Fantom. Thankfully fantoms team has very good designed docs, making it more fun than challenging.
Accomplishments that I am proud of
Integrating my blockchain application smoothly into a new ecosystem therefor providing Dapp users with new benefits, like fantoms reduced gas fees for transactions.
What I learned
This was a great opportunity to learn about a for me new ecosystem, learning their stack, their technical benefits (like lower tx costs) and also a great introduction to working with the fantom team.
What's next for NFT Marketplace
- I am currently working on an eng AND dutch auction for the NFT Marketplace, giving users the ability to auction their NFTs in multiple ways if they do decide to do so.
- Additionally I am working on an automatic system to deliver the minting fees of the NFT Marketplace into a DAO which allows NFT Holders to vote on funding either public goods or some kind of charity using their voting power for holding mentioned NFTs.
