  NFGifts and its Software Architecture

Inspiration

A dear friend wanted to do an special gift for his best friend on his wedding day. Only thing he had was a picture of the bride and the groom on the day they met. The groom is also into crypto, but how to merge both this memory and a crypto gift? That's how NFGifts was born.

What it does

NFGifts is a website that allows non-techie users to create, buy and send thoughtful cards, images, videos and gifs in the form of NFTs for special occasions, sharing memories that last forever.

How we built it

We develop a flask project that hosted the page, the page connects to Metamask wallet and deploys the smart contract. We used HTML and CSS to build front end.

Challenges we ran into

Learning solidity in under 24 hours. Not knowing how to use front end libraries.
