Inspiration

I wanted to break the matrix. In my home city, Lahore, air quality is a crisis that ranks us among the most polluted in the world. I saw children developing asthma and was told that to heal, I must become a doctor. Instead, I built low-cost air purifiers in my workshop, proving engineering saves lives too. NexWell AI is my answer,a blend of technology and genuine care for holistic wellbeing.

What it does

NexWell AI is an all-in-one health companion. Using Gemini 3’s vision technology, it analyzes your living environment—the same spaces that affect health daily but no doctor asks about. It provides personalized health tracking, mental wellbeing support, and an AI companion that understands your holistic needs.

How I built it

I built this in Google AI Studio to leverage the native reasoning and multimodal capabilities of Gemini 3. Environmental Scanning: Utilizes high-resolution visual processing to identify health-impacting factors in living spaces. Reasoning Engine: Uses Gemini 3’s High Thinking Level to correlate environmental data with personal logs for a dynamic "Health Score." Agentic Workflows: Uses Function Callingto adjust recommendations based on real-time air quality and weather data.

Challenges I ran into

Iterating on prompts to ensure Gemini 3 could distinguish between "clutter" and actual "health hazards" (like poor ventilation) was a hurdle. I also worked deeply on managing Thought Signatures to keep the AI coaching consistent and empathetic.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Proving that a girl from Pakistan can innovate and heal through technology. I successfully built a tool that "sees" what traditional medicine ignores: the home.

What I learned

I learned to leverage the "Vibe Coding" workflow in AI Studio to move from a workshop sketch to a functional full-stack health agent.

What is next for NexWell ai

I am planning to add more options in it like proper diys and methods how to grow Plants at home ,a remainder user can set to water plant , ai voice that tells the benefits of a particular plant , camera that can scan and detect the type of plant
