Inspiration

Current Freelance platforms are just able to utilise under 10 percent of developers, bidding or selection is. a pain for developers and also Assigning full projects to developers doesn't make much sense as it consists of multiple components and skills and there is a need for real time collaboration.

What it does

  1. This Platform matches the right talent in real time via advanced AI matchmaking.
  2. Breaks the project into tasks and these tasks are then matched to the available freelancers.
  3. Automatic price and sla calculation as per the complexity of task,
  4. AI manages the project from planning, assigning to making sure of delivery.
  5. Students/Interns can engage by shadowing live projects and getting mentored. Rewarded with learning and work credits if any for small tasks.

How we built it

  1. We used Bolt ai to build the UI for the entire application. Also took realtime feedback with real freelancers and students to get the feel of the website if they would like to work in this as their primary go to gig job and got exciting response.
  2. Integrated supabase database and used bolt to create initial migration scripts(later corrected by self based on continuous issues and updates)
  3. Created AI scripts and integrated with the bolt app for AI matchmaking functionality.

Challenges we ran into

  1. Main challenge was setting up the Algorand for Blockchain payments. As I am new to blockchain , I tried to prompt Bolt for using algorand but it would change my UI also. After loosing a lot of credits in vibecoding this I decided to build this myself but it would take time.
  2. Main challenge that the app is still not ready to go live is becasue of github integration in the signin. I am not a UI developer and still some minor correction needed in fixing this integration to go live. after this integration is fixed i could actually bring back my project management module.
  3. The idea that I am working on required more manpower and time to implement, plus more credits from bolt which i exhausted.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  1. Without any knowledge of UI and UX I was able to build a UI which is acceptable and liked by many students and freelancers so far.
  2. With a little help I can actually take this to its prime state.
  3. At least I was able to visualise more clearly the vision that I look forward for building.

What we learned

With a tool like bolt I can finally fill in some missing blocks like frontend and also with so many integrations available, We can really prototype our ideas faster, with little more money and man power it can perfectly help us achieve our goal over a short period of time.

What's next for Nexusworks

I have the vision to integrate Brain compute Interface and AR/VR capabilities into this platform which makes it a perfect place for future gig based jobs.
