Project Overview
AetherTrade AI is a smart trading platform designed to unify market analysis, portfolio management, AI insights, and security monitoring in one system. The project was inspired by the need for faster, more intelligent trading tools that reduce fragmentation across platforms.
What I Learned
Through this project, I strengthened my skills in React and TypeScript, real-time state management, and system simulation. I learned how to model market volatility, manage asynchronous events, and design modular, scalable components.
How It Was Built
The platform uses React hooks to manage user identity, live asset pricing, trades, and security events. Asset prices update using controlled random drift:
[ P_{t+1} = P_t (1 + \delta) ]
Security events and AI insights are simulated in parallel to create a realistic trading environment.
Challenges
The biggest challenge was coordinating multiple real-time simulations without performance issues. This was solved through efficient state updates and cleanup logic.
