Inspiration

We noticed that advisors and clients spend too much time dealing with scattered tools instead of focusing on actual work. Advisors constantly switch between emails, forms, scheduling tools, and communication platforms, while clients experience delays and lack visibility. We wanted to create one place where the entire advisory journey feels connected, efficient, and simple.

What it does

NEXUS is an integrated advisory workspace that brings advisors and clients onto a single platform. It simplifies onboarding, communication, document management, engagement tracking, and workflow coordination. Clients can discover advisors, connect directly, and stay updated throughout the process while advisors reduce manual work and improve productivity. it is highly secured.

How we built it

We designed NEXUS as a scalable MVP with a layered architecture focused on usability and security. The platform combines a centralized dashboard approach with secure authentication and access management. We implemented JWT-based authentication, role-based access control, and structured workflows to create a secure and seamless experience for both advisors and clients.

Challenges we ran into

What we learned

This project taught us that technology alone is not the solution — user experience and workflow design matter just as much. We learned how important security architecture, scalability planning, and understanding user pain points are when building products. Most importantly, we learned to validate problems before building features.
