Inspiration
Many non-technical users and small business owners struggle with system slowdowns, background bloatware, and complex Windows errors. Professional IT maintenance is often too expensive or hard to access, leaving users with laggy machines. Nexus AI Optimizer was built to make PC maintenance simple, safe, and automated.
What it does
Nexus AI Optimizer scans systems for unnecessary background processes, debloats unwanted software, manages startup programs, and provides natural-language troubleshooting explanations powered by AI.
How we built it
The core engine is built with Python for system-level interaction and script execution. The AI layer integrates the Gemini API to analyze error logs and offer step-by-step guidance. The user interface was structured to keep system maintenance intuitive for everyone.
Challenges we ran into
Safely managing system-level tasks without breaking user configurations was a key challenge, along with making sure the AI returns concise, practical advice instead of confusing technical jargon.
What's next for Nexus AI Optimizer
We plan to introduce automated background scheduling, multi-PC management dashboards for small teams, and advanced network diagnostic utilities.
