Inspiration
Recruitment is often slow, biased, and time-consuming. We wanted to build an AI-powered platform that helps recruiters hire smarter and enables candidates to prepare confidently for interviews.
What it does
NextHire analyzes resumes, matches candidates with suitable jobs, conducts adaptive AI interviews, verifies skills, and generates a hiring readiness score with personalized insights.
How we built it
Built using Next.js, React, FastAPI, Python, Gemini AI, Supabase/PostgreSQL, and deployed on Vercel and Render.
Challenges we ran into
We faced challenges with AI response accuracy, integrating the frontend with the backend, deployment configuration, and optimizing resume analysis for faster performance.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully developed a functional AI hiring platform with resume analysis, adaptive interviews, skill verification, and an intuitive user interface in a short development period.
What we learned
We gained hands-on experience with AI integration, full-stack development, API communication, deployment, and designing user-focused AI applications.
