Inspiration

Recently, I brought two product from a online store, in which one of the product was fake, and I was unable to complain or track the origin of the product. So if I upload the details of the product in blockchain and by generating the barcode, I can able to find the origin of the product and able to avoid fake product in market. By this, we are able to trust product that we buy.

What it does

Firstly, the product is shipped from the origin and the owner will upload the details of the product as a transaction in blockchain. Once the product is delivered to the receiver, An acknowledge will be sent. This process continues until the product will be delivered to the customer, By this we can avoid duplicate or fake products, We can avoid products going into the black market because all the products are going under transaction, Since it is transparent, people can buy their product with guarantee and can know their origin of the product.

How we built it

It is built on XDC platform by using solidity, An smart contract will be developed between the sender and the receiver.

Challenges we ran into

Linking of multi transaction of a single product into a single transaction will be one of the major challenge but by using merkle root hash we are able to link into single hash value, Loading the details of the transaction into a block, Deployment of SMART CONTRACT will be a tough job.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

By managing supply chain companies can cut excess cost and deliver with correct transaction , Supply chain avoid shortage problem, Fake transaction can be avoided, By making a centralized system into decentralized we can make the people to believe the process and the product that produced by the companies.

What's next for NextGen Supply Chain Management System using Blockchain

NextGen Supply Chain Management System using Blockchain is an idea that tracks goods or products that are sent from companies, By this companies are able to ensure whether the products is delivered to the customer correctly are not, So that there will not corruption and people can get the product in correct price, Its is will cost efficient and all the transaction takes place will be transparent.

Smart Contract

The smart contract will made between the sender and the reciever by making all transaction verified and sending acknowledgement by the receiver. If an acknowledgement is not send by the receiver, the collaboration between the sender and receiver will be cut of and the contract gets terminated.
