Inspiration

We love solving real problems using algorithms and this challenge was NP hard graph problem which made us deep dive into it and come with smart and efficient solution.

What it does

We created a smart algorithm which helps us plan the drone missions making sure it is cost effective in terms of time/distance and battery usage.

How we built it

We wanted something that can help us come close to optimal solution and for that we used Google 's "ortools" library.

Challenges we ran into

First challenge was to design the algorithm which makes sure we cover all the photo locations and the next challenge we ran into was to optimize it using lot of testing with variables like "computational time", "penalty" to achieve the best scenario.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our problem solving skills as it started from pruning the large data set which was provided and then concluding towards the concrete algorithm which is efficient.
