Inspiration

What inspired us was fellow students like us who face housing troubles as well, don't know where to relocate to, for summer internships, or newcomers who don't know which areas are best to live in.

What it does

It provides recommendations on which CMAs are the best fit for the individual taking into account their needs and income.

How we built it

We made the design on Figma, along with an accompanying REACT website.

Challenges we ran into

The challenges we ran into were more on the technical side, such as file errors, computer shutdowns, etc... We also have a team of two, one of which is a beginner, so there were a few learning curves. Since we don't have many people to allocate tasks to, we had to make sure we could do what we can with the time that we have.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The project was done adequately. Learning different softwares, different frameworks, and networking with the community!

What we learned

Hackathons are fun! Learning how to network is one of the main takeaways during the workshops, and being able to learn how algorithms and datasets also work was very informative and beneficial.
