Inspiration

Hackville and how they created a community for computer programmers to grow and learn together. We wanted to provide that same feel of community to students and tutors within their school community.

What it does

We connect students and tutors within a school based on their preferences and unique learning style. Students can view available tutors, review them, and give them a rating.

How we built it

Challenges we ran into

We felt like we were running out of time so ended up putting all of our remaining time into creating a wireframe for us to present.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of learning Figma from scratch and implementing a wireframe to be able to present our web application idea.

What we learned

All of us learned how to use Figma. It most of our first hackathon so we learned how to work together as a team and how to create a project from the ground up.

What's next for Next Steps Tutors

Since we did not finish the actual application, we plan to finish the project for web deployment when we have time. We all go to the same school so we will plan a time to complete it together.
