Inspiration

Our inspiration derives from 3 main questions

How is it that I have risen to new heights in my life?
How can I rise to new heights?
What does it mean for me to “Rise To New Heights”?
Another main factor of our inspiration is that we will be graduating high school soon, after which we are expected to start our own life. Many graduates may not know or be sure about their life after high school. Contrary to many social beliefs that being 18 makes us adults, some require more time or have not been given the time to explore our personalities and interest. Next Step uses mentorships-like relationships to help individuals ease such life dilemmas. ## What it does
Next Step is a platform that gives users the opportunity to explore and connect with professionals, worldwide. By creating a profile with your unique interest and goals, Next Step will match you with recommended professionals to find your potential mentor(s).
We created a website using nextjs by making our own APIs ## Challenges we ran into

we learned that we need to better organize our time at the start of a challenge by creating a simple schedule of how we use our time to keep us on track and make progress ## What's next for Next Step The next step for our platform would be to create a mobile app for users to download so that it will be more accessible.
