What it does

-Community-driven platform (iOS and Android) to finance solutions to the most relevant problems right now. -Each user can submit problems or create solutions. You get paid for your successful solutions; you pay when you want to increase the relevance and urgency, or you can vote for the best solutions from other people. -Just like in a Hackathon, it works with deadlines to increase the motivation and engagement -platform chooses the most voted solutions after time is up and rewards them with a bounty

How we built it

-We built it like a videogame, in which monsters represent problems and the users are the heroes who create solutions to fight the monsters and get some gold coins for it. -Android and iOS App built with React Native (JavaScript framework) as a hybrid application. -Firebase from Google as Database -Mockup: using online tool MarvelApp

Challenges we ran into

-Learning new technology (React Native) from scratch -Thinking long-term solutions -Designing complete UX/UI of the app from scratch (Pixel Art, Navigation, Buttons, Animations, etc.)

-Development of app from scratch -We mastered new programming skills and discovered new design methods -Even during the crisis, there are tons of people like us working for things like these

What we learned

-Inviting a lot of people to find solutions for important-enough problems can achieve massive collaboration and innovation. -Even during a crisis, there is a market for problems and solutions. -We learned a new programming framework from scratch (React Native) -Pixel Art Design and Animation

What's next for 46_Gamification_Next Heroes

-Monetization: through commissions for each transaction. The money would be used for further development, maintenance, servers, storage, marketing, and founder wages. -Moderation of App: Problems and solutions will be moderated by admins to avoid unethical and irrelevant -Brand: Raise awareness, make valuable content on ALL platforms with the right context -Marketing (Ads) directed to problem-solving nerds (like us) -Exponential Growth: the opportunity right now is huge because everyone is watching. Everyone is at home. Everyone is online. Everyone has a problem and anyone can try to solve it.
