Overview- Next Harvest is a web-based initiative aimed at solving a variety of problems arising in the agriculture and farming community, especially the lack of knowledge, and poor communication among producers and consumers, as well as producers and other producers, to a lesser extent. The app mainly seeks to solve the 2nd challenge point of "Access to Production Information and Knowledge (Weather, Soil, or Pest Management, etc.)". It is aimed at farmers, agricultural enthusiasts, producers and consumers of agricultural products.
Key Features- Pest report feature where pictures of pests can be uploaded and blogged for questions. Social chat feature where users can talk to each other. Weather feature that allows users to see local weather forecast. Bookshelf feature where recommended books can be bought through Amazon, iTunes etc.
