Inspiration
Solana is the fastest network in Web3, but the token deployment lifecycle remains deeply broken. Authentic builders face a fragmented, unforgiving toolchain—configuring Metaplex metadata, managing Token Extensions, pinning to decentralized storage, and bootstrapping liquidity pools through complex CLI workflows. A single misconfigured parameter can ruin a launch.
Meanwhile, existing "no-code" launchpads force dangerous compromises: opaque fee models, closed-source contracts, and custodial workflows that require users to surrender wallet security. This has made launchpads notorious for predatory mechanics and rug pulls, while genuine creators with impactful community ideas get locked out.
We asked a fundamental question: Why should democratizing token creation require sacrificing cryptographic sovereignty?
That conviction sparked NexSol. We built an enterprise-grade, non-custodial platform that turns hours of high-risk engineering into minutes of safe execution. By leveraging AI to validate tokenomics, optimize launch parameters, and automate metadata pipelines, NexSol empowers anyone to go from concept to a verifiable, trade-ready asset—without writing a line of Rust or ever handing over their private keys.
What it does
NexSol is an all-in-one, non-custodial Solana token creation and launch ecosystem:
- 🪙 Create SPL Tokens — Configure name, symbol, total supply, decimals, and token icons. Automatically registers on-chain Metaplex metadata and pins assets to decentralized storage. Choose from one-click templates (Meme Coin, DeFi, Utility, Gaming, Stablecoin) or create custom configurations.
- 🤖 AI Studio (Google Gemini) — Turn simple ideas into complete project identities. Gemini generates names, symbols, descriptions, and custom logos (Gemini ImageGen + SVG fallback), while authoring full whitepapers, quarterly roadmaps, and social launch copy for Twitter, Telegram, and Discord.
- 🚀 Launch on Raydium DEX — Deposit SOL + token liquidity to instantly spin up an automated CPMM pool on Raydium. Supports on-chain LP token burning to provably lock liquidity forever.
- 🛡️ Composite Security Scanner — Evaluate any token's rug-pull risk with a live 0–100 safety score. Inspects mint authority, freeze authority, LP lock status, top-holder concentration, and liquidity depth.
- 🏪 Token Marketplace & Terminal — Explore newly launched tokens alongside live DexScreener trending metrics, with zero-friction swaps routed through the Jupiter aggregator.
- 📊 Analytics Dashboard — Real-time price charts (via Recharts), holder distribution curves, whale movement tracking, technical indicators, and automated sentiment feeds.
- ✈️ Bulk Airdrop Engine — Distribute tokens to hundreds of community addresses with batched, cost-optimized Solana transactions.
- 📸 Holder Snapshot — Export instant, cryptographically verifiable lists of all active token holders for governance and rewards.
- 🔐 Authority Manager — Revoke mint, freeze, or metadata update authorities post-creation with one click to maximize trust scores on DexScreener and RugCheck.
- 🐋 Whale Tracker & Smart Alerts — Monitor large wallet balances and configure instant notifications for abnormal volume spikes.
100% Non-Custodial: NexSol never asks for, manages, or stores private keys. Every single transaction is simulated and signed directly within Phantom or Solflare.
How we built it
NexSol is engineered as a unified, high-performance Next.js 16 full-stack application:
- Frontend: React 19 + TypeScript styled with custom CSS (zero heavy UI library overhead) and powered by Framer Motion for animations and Recharts for live on-chain analytics.
- Blockchain Core: Solana Web3.js for RPC orchestration; SPL Token program for minting, transferring, and burning; Metaplex UMI for standard on-chain metadata registration; and Raydium SDK v2 for automated CPMM pool initialization.
- AI Engine: Google Gemini API isolated strictly inside server-side Next.js route handlers. It orchestrates prompt pipelines for brand generation, whitepaper compilation, and automated SVG/image generation without ever exposing credentials to the client.
- Decentralized Storage: Pinata IPFS for content-addressed, immutable pinning of token media and metadata JSON.
- Wallet Architecture: Solana Wallet Adapter providing seamless support for Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, and hardware wallets.
- Transaction Engineering: Phantom-optimized single-signer
createAccountWithSeedpattern, pre-simulating transactions with priority fee budget instructions for zero-drop landings. - Deployment: Production deployment on Vercel with integrated Speed Insights and real-time telemetry.
Challenges we ran into
- Raydium SDK Typing Landmines —
raydium.cpmm.createPoolparameter types resolve toanyin TypeScript, meaning parameter mismatches (such as passing abigintwhere aBNwas expected, or invalidstartTimeformats) compiled cleanly but failed silently at runtime. We had to build strict runtime schema validation layers to catch these issues before execution. - Decimal Precision & BigNumber Math — Early pool creation assumed 9 decimals and multiplied by
1e9. This caused 6-decimal assets (like USDC) to deposit 1,000× the intended ratio against SOL. We builtgetMintFacts()to inspect on-chain decimals directly and implementedtoBaseUnits()for lossless, string-based decimal scaling to avoid JavaScript float precision limits beyond $2^{53}$. - True On-Chain LP Burns vs. Simulated Locks — Many Web3 tools take dangerous shortcuts or mock token locks in the UI. We insisted on complete cryptographic proof. Accurately resolving the Raydium CPMM pool's LP mint on-chain, burning the full balance non-custodially, and closing the associated token account required a complete rewrite and deep navigation of Raydium's account structures.
- Phantom's Strict Simulation Pipeline — Modern wallets like Phantom reject transactions with unpredictable state changes. We restructured our deployment sequence to use
createAccountWithSeed(single signer), simulated with a placeholder blockhash (sigVerify: false), and fetched the real blockhash only upon simulation success—ensuring transactions confirm within the strict 60–90 second validity window. - Prioritizing Protocol Security over Unaudited Custody — We initially explored a custom bonding curve smart contract on devnet. However, any custom program that custodies user SOL requires formal third-party audits and multi-sig governance. Rather than risking user funds with unaudited custody logic, we made the disciplined engineering decision to integrate battle-tested, fully audited Raydium CPMM liquidity pools instead.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Zero-Trust Security — Complete non-custodial guarantee. Users maintain absolute control of their keys and funds at every step.
- Verifiable On-Chain Mechanics — Every action—from metadata pinning to LP burns—generates a permanent, auditable Solana transaction signature.
- End-to-End AI Creator Suite — Users can go from a one-sentence idea to a fully branded, documented, and trade-ready token with roadmaps and socials in under 10 minutes.
- Production-Grade Transaction Reliability — Pre-flight simulation, priority fee scaling, and single-signer optimizations eliminate common wallet dropouts.
- Actionable Risk Intelligence — A multi-vector security scanner evaluating 6 on-chain indicators to protect the community from predatory setups.
What we learned
- External SDK Types Cannot Be Trusted Blindly — When libraries rely on
any, TypeScript safety disappears. Explicit local typing and validation wrappers are mandatory for production Web3 apps. - Never Use Floating-Point Math for Balances — JavaScript floats are dangerous for DeFi. String-based decimal scaling is the only robust method for handling on-chain value.
- Strict Wallet Compliance Pays Off — Designing for the most restrictive wallet simulation standards (Phantom) guarantees clean execution across Solflare, Backpack, and hardware wallets.
- Security Is A Feature — Real decentralization requires doing the hard engineering work on-chain rather than taking UX shortcuts.
What's next for Nexsol
- Mobile-First Progressive Web App (PWA) — Offline caching, homescreen installation, and push notifications for real-time whale movements and liquidity alerts.
- Token-2022 Advanced Extensions — Adding native support for transfer fees, interest-bearing tokens, and confidential transfers.
- Ecosystem Growth & Partnerships — Collaborating with Solana creator communities, launch campaigns on X/Telegram, and hackathon incubation partners.
- Cross-Chain Issuance — Bringing the same non-custodial issuance experience to high-throughput Layer 2 ecosystems.
