Inspiration

The inspiration for Nexai stems from the need to bridge the gap between AI customer service solutions and decentralized, blockchain-based technologies. We recognized a significant demand for secure, scalable, and interoperable AI tools within the Internet Computer (ICP) ecosystem. By leveraging the strengths of both AI and blockchain, we envisioned a solution that not only enhances customer service experiences but also ensures data privacy and security.

What it does

Nexai is an AI-powered customer service solution built on the Internet Computer. It provides accurate, context-aware responses to customer queries while ensuring data privacy and security. Nexai features seamless integration with other dApps on the Internet Computer, horizontal scalability to handle increased demand, a multifunctional wallet for easy top-ups based on workload and traffic, and enhanced security through decentralized data distribution.

How we built it

Nexai was developed using the following key components:

• Internet Computer: Leveraged for its decentralized infrastructure, providing security, privacy, and scalability.
• AI Models: Integrated advanced AI models to deliver accurate and context-aware customer service responses.
• Canister Management: Utilized to ensure seamless integration and interaction with other dApps on the Internet Computer.
• Multifunctional Wallet: Developed to allow companies to manage their canisters/services based on workload and traffic.

Challenges we ran into

We encountered several challenges during the development of Nexai:

• Integration with Unstoppable Domains: As Unstoppable Domains is not yet fully supported on the ICP, we had to navigate integration complexities and find workarounds.
• Scalability: Ensuring that Nexai could scale effectively to meet growing demand required thorough testing and optimization.
• User Experience: Designing an intuitive and user-friendly interface that meets the needs of diverse users required significant effort and iteration.

What we learned

Throughout the development process, we gained valuable insights into the complexities of integrating AI with decentralized technologies. We learned about the unique challenges of building on the Internet Computer, such as canister management, scalability, and security. Additionally, we explored the potential of Unstoppable Domains for providing seamless domain name management and enhancing digital identities.

What's next for Nexai

Our goals for Nexai after the hackathon include:

• Fine-Tune the Product: Enhance Nexai to reach production-ready status.
• User Acquisition: Actively seek and onboard users to validate and improve the platform.
• Integration with On-Chain Models: Work on integrating on-chain models like ELNA to further enhance Nexai's capabilities.
• Custom Domain Management: Implement a feature to dynamically create canisters for each company, enabling better data management.
• Collaboration with Unstoppable Domains: Finalize the integration to offer a complete solution for domain name mapping and management on the Internet Computer.

By achieving these goals, we aim to establish Nexai as a leading decentralized AI customer service solution on the Internet Computer.
