Nexa Pass
What it does Journey by NEXA is an AI-powered railway platform that provides digital Nexa Pass generation, OTP-based login, crowd monitoring, emergency assistance, and dedicated dashboards for passengers, staff, and administrators.
How we built it We built Journey using React and Vite for the frontend, FastAPI and Python for the backend, REST APIs for communication, and a database to store passenger, crowd, and emergency request data.
Challenges we ran into Integrating the frontend and backend, managing real-time data flow, designing a user-friendly interface, and implementing multiple user roles within a limited timeframe were our biggest challenges.
Accomplishments that we're proud of We successfully developed a working prototype featuring Nexa Pass generation, crowd analytics, emergency request handling, OTP login, and role-based dashboards in a cohesive platform.
What we learned We gained experience in full-stack development, API integration, database management, teamwork, UI/UX design, and applying AI concepts to transportation systems.
What's next for NEXA We plan to add real-time train tracking, predictive crowd analysis, multilingual support, AI-powered travel recommendations, and deployment at a larger scale to support smart railway ecosystems.
