Inspiration

The desire to stay updated on all tech information using a free app without having to google it or visit ad infested sites.

What it does

It simply shows news pulled from an API and displays it in the simplest format available. The aim is to maximize news display per unit area of screen. This comes as a direct experience of using different news sites.

How we built it

Made use of News API's services coupled with Express, React & Node.

Challenges we ran into

Deciding on a web layout and picking up Express and React.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Producing a working clean app at the end of 2 days & collaborating and learning on the project.

Store user preferences and serve news accordingly.
