Inspiration

We wanted to create something based on the theme of the hackathon, i.e., New Year. As we were brainstorming the ideas, one of us told his resolution that he had taken up for the year and that idea stuck by us.

What it does

This is a website which engulfes all of the user's new year resolutions and displays them at the same page. If you want to keep a track of all your new year resolutions, this is a website which can be really beneficial for you. A user can add, edit and discard their resolutions. Also, we have added a feature of watching other's resolutions so that you get some inspiration and motivation :)

How we built it

We built it using MERN stack.

Challenges we ran into

Basic challenges were regarding the co-ordination. Apart from that, there were times when we ran into a number of errors not just related to the codebase but also with pushing it on github. But, at the end, we were able to overcome them all and make something we're happy with.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The teamwork was outstanding and everyone did their parts with utmost sincerity. Apart from that, we have built something that we like ourselves and would love to show it to everybody.

What we learned

Teamwork, patience and the importance of communication :) And of course we brushed up on our skills.

What's next for NewYearNewResolutions

Proper deployment and a product which would be beneficial for everyone trying to stick with their resolutions.
