This is an PWA Application created using React js as front end and Django REST Framework as back. Using this app the user can able to read the summarized news from different sources

Inspiration

When I saw that lots of people are not reading news because of the news is so long and also some of the words in English are not familiar to them so then i came up with the solution that the user can also able to read news by this PWA web application

What it does

This app basically gets the summarized news from the newsapi from abipravi api link : link

With it the user can also able to add the news to their bookmark and read it later

How we built it

We build this app using React JS for front end and Django rest framework for back end and by using Django you're also used their beautiful soup to get their news from the different sources like India Today and Google News we're using Google News to show the personalized news of the users by using their Google data

the user can also be able to log in with their Google account it is mandatory to log in with your Google account because all the data will be saved into their Google accounts and the user can also be able to see the news and able to view bookmarks at any device at any time using our news application

we also provide the high end security for our back end and also the users data

Challenges we ran into

The challenges that we are facing is building the API'S the API which we are building is using an NLP's and also the web scrapping while building the API with NLP the summarization of the news went wrong so far that we used the algorithm called summarize algorithm so that we can also be able to view the from different websites and compare the best news and we will give it to the user

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we are now proud that we can able to read the news and who are also not able to read the news completely because of its length

What we learned

we have learned how to use an artificial intelligence with the back end API's and also the well front end frameworks

What's next for News App

in future we are also making the user to add the articles and also making it the articles to be promoted and also we making the application looks like a professional news application with artificial intelligence news
