Inspiration

I'm Olly and I've lived in New Zealand since 2010 and love the outdoors, growing my own food and living a healthy, sustainable life. I needed a tool to help me do this better so I built Green Thumb to give me the best chances of growing and harvesting the best produce possible.

What it does

Empowers all kinds of growers, from people renting and growing in containers, to small holders and hobby farmers all the way through to larger commercial growers. Plan and optimize spaces, forecast yields, manage resources and commitments and assess risks (climate, pests etc).

How we built it

I used Gemini through Google AI studio to do the majority of the design and build, then through user testing and feedback have implemented changes, enhancements and tweaks to get to a v1
