New Glasses

Inspiration

When I was taking lessons about swift, I could not read stuff on the white board and started to wonder if I need new glasses

What it does

Tests your eyesight, give information about your eyesight.

How I built it

With xcode and swift. No APIs were used and I had some images from websites.

Challenges I ran into

It was hard to get the test to work at different distances and allow users to test at accurate distance. Some of these issues are still not fixed.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I figured out the way to calculate the eyesight and I spend a lot of time on UIs which I am proud of.

What I learned

Programming with swift, using xcode to build UI, searching through internet to fix my issues on the code.

What's next for New Glasses

Develop a way to test eyesight accurately at varying distances. Allow users to determine their distance with their camera, develop self-testing mode, more tutorials.
