Inspiration

As a K-pop fan, I've been recently hearing about the struggles of managers due to the lack of employees and the amount of work they have to face. And I thought it would be useful to make a tool that can help them identify the trends and fan discussions without having to spend so long looking at comments or the static data that lacks the personalisation they are looking for.

What it does

This agent is presented as a web app that lets the user paste the link of a YouTube video and a small description about what they want the comment analytics to focus on. which is the main difference from the static YouTube analytics tool; with Gemini AI, they can request very specific analytics and receive a dashboard presenting the general analysis, common keywords and actionable requests. with an aesthetic and interactive front. It's a light tool that will save time for many creators.

How we built it

This app was built completely by Replit! All I had to do was prepare a brief and grab the YouTube and Gemini API keys, and I was ready to go. All the edits and testing were done by natural language chats between me and the Replit agent; finally, the app was deployed on Replit as well.

Challenges we ran into

The most challenging part of this project is the quotas of free-tier tools, such as not being able to analyse more than 500 comments for each YouTube video and the limited API calls for Gemini AI, which of course can be solved once moving to a paid API.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I was honestly more satisfied than I thought I would be; the demo of this tool is effortless both for users and for me as a developer using the Replit agent and publishing.

What we learned

This was my first time vibe-coding a demo, and the most important accomplishment was not having a feature creep, which was possible because I took my time thinking about how I want this to be and reminded myself that this is supposed to be a light demo.

What's next for Fan Insight Analyzer

For the possible feature of this app, it could develop to use a paid API, allowing it to offer better analytics, add accounts and the ability to see live analytics. it could also scale up to include more social media.
