Inspiration

It gets really sunny in San Diego so we wanted to stay safe from the sun without constantly being inside.

What it does

Our project senses the UV rays from the sun and recommends you what SPF of sunscreen you should wear

How we built it

We used a 3d-printef enclosure to hold our Arduino, which is wired up to both Bluetooth and UV sensing modules. The software is ran through Arduino IDE.

Challenges we ran into

Primarily connectivity between the Arduino and our phones, along with getting our BT module working and displaying our intended results on the terminal.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Getting our whole project working as intended, and establishing good connection between our phones and the Arduino.
