Never Stop Ting

Inspiration

I’m an international flight attendant, and I wanted to transform my real travel experiences into something more interactive than a traditional travel blog. And I am also interested in AI so keep leaning it and understand how Gpt be built up by transformer brain and so on.

Never Stop Ting connects flight records, destination videos, storytelling, and interactive learning experiences. Its extension, Ting Taiwan, helps international visitors learn practical Chinese through podcasts, collectible travel stamps, and city-based games inspired by travel in Taiwan.

What it does

Visitors can explore real flight journeys, watch destination videos, and move between travel stories and interactive experiences.

Through Ting Taiwan, users can:

• listen to Mandarin-learning podcast episodes
• collect travel stamps
• practise practical Mandarin expressions
• play interactive travel games
• explore Taipei through a metro-based board game

How I built it

I built the project with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, GitHub, Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare R2, Vercel, and Supabase.

I used GPT and Codex as creative and technical collaborators. Codex helped me inspect the codebase, implement features, debug loading and media issues, integrate audio and video assets, validate navigation and game flows, and prepare production deployments.

Challenges

The biggest challenges were managing large media files, fixing loading behaviour, connecting two separate websites, maintaining bilingual content, and making sure the games, podcasts, videos, stamps, and navigation all worked reliably in production.

What I learned

I learned how to turn an idea into a working digital product, debug production issues, manage cloud-hosted media, structure interactive experiences, and collaborate with AI tools while reviewing and validating every change.

What's next

I want to expand Never Stop Ting with more destinations, travel stories, language-learning episodes, collectible stamps, and interactive city experiences.
