Inspiration
The Inspiration for this project has been the polarization of media and how all information presented to us have inherent bias, and we want to create a news application the provides news without any bias
What it does
This project scraps multiple news stories from different news websites and than compares the stories covering the same topic to give us information regarding the topic clean of any bias or opinion.
How we built it
We used python language for the backend and flutter for the frontend
Challenges we ran into
The challenge we ran into is the difficulties scraping information from news website that are not friendly to web scraping
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of developing the project into a functioning application
What we learned
We learned how to be efficient and work in teams, a deeper understanding of frontend and backend. A deeper understanding of the languages used.
What's next for Neutral News
We would like to develop Neutral News further and see how it can grow.
