neurum s.o.u.l. sdk

Inspiration

I saw tonnes of people having groundbreaking ideas having a minuscule range of ai tech to back their projects and I knew we needed something to give this technology a structure.

What it does

Neurum's s.o.u.l. sdk is an all in one ai platform to build powerful machine learning applications using the multimodal capabilities of it. It's way simpler than any other ai sdk, taking less than 3 lines of code to use in projects. Has a token limit of 16000 and also has realtime internet access.

How we built it

At Neurum, we put all put blood, sleep and caffeine into this one large language model-n.e.r.d. which stands for neurum. evolutionary. resource. driver. (the name was generated by n.e.r.d. itself don't blame me.) It's our state of the art model highly capable in solving logical problems, creativity, programming and much more. We used python and FastAPI framework to create a public package for developers to use worldwide.

Challenges we ran into

The first one was speed. The current models are very slow and clunky. s.o.u.l. allows you to accomplish sequential tasks 40% faster, while giving a 4x context length than other models. We faced issues with the servers going down a few times, clashes within the existing backend of neurum and that of s.o.u.l.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we came up with a model of text-chunk-encrypting, that's under testing, which will allow us to expand this sdk to have a context length of 100,000 tokens(roughly 75,000 words). This will be a little slower but we are figuring out ways to make it on par with our current model.

What we learned

We learned that we were spending too much time thinking and planning, though which is crucial in a building a product, but this could probably take a month if we didn't join the hackathon. We learned that putting an external deadline increases the pace of development at a magnificent level. We learned that putting out the smallest v1 is better than waiting till eternity to ship the perfect masterpiece.

What's next for neurum s.o.u.l. sdk

We've made our n.e.r.d. model capable of even generating images, scanning and asking images, speech generation and even music to show the world its hyper-multimodal capabilities. But we wanted this monster of a technology to be in the hands of every developer to harness this god-like power in the projects of their dreams. We have shipped our first version that supports text and has real-time internet info and we'll be constantly upgrading it. We'll be further building this in the upcoming season of buildspace's nights&weekends, of which about 70% participants are developing ai products. This will be a huge market opportunity for us to have a slamming entry in the field. We are also building our another product named "dendron" which will allow users to build multimodal ai apps powered by n.e.r.d. without code and even have features to import their models through s.o.u.l. in their existing code. We are also working on our Javascript sdk and it will be launching very soon. s.o.u.l. is definitely gonna set the souls on fire.
