NeuroTech Datathon Project

Inspiration

We felt this track gave us the best opportunity to apply and improve our quantitative/technical skills while pursuing the datathon's objective of social good

What it does

Predicts psychiatric disorders using EEG analysis

How we built it

Using robust data processing and aggregation to effectively harness logistic regression modeling

Challenges we ran into

Finding a suitable model, lots of noise in the data, compressed timeframe

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Achieving up to 40% accuracy with a working model

What we learned

Good team development and data wrangling practices

What's next for NeuroTech Datathon Project

Time-series incorporation and further exploration of statistically significant explanatory variables
