‏#Inspiration ‏Communication barriers faced by the deaf and mute inspired us to develop a solution that enables them to engage in real-time, two-way conversations using neural signal translation.

‏#What it does NeuroTalk is a behind-the-ear smart device that captures spoken words, converts them into brain-understandable signals, and enables users to respond using AI-powered thought-to-speech technology.

‏#How we built it ‏We combined concepts from AI, neuroscience, and sensory hardware. The device integrates a speech recognition system, neural signal interface, and pre-trained voice synthesis models.

‏#Challenges we ran into ‏Understanding neural signal mapping for personalized responses was complex. Ensuring real-time translation accuracy with minimal delay was also a technical challenge.

‏#Accomplishments that we’re proud of ‏We’re proud of designing a concept that could redefine communication for the deaf and mute, offering dignity and autonomy through smart technology.

‏#What we learned ‏We learned how AI and neural tech can create inclusive healthcare solutions and how multidisciplinary collaboration can solve real-world challenges.

‏#What’s next for NeuroTalk ‏We plan to prototype NeuroTalk using EEG interfaces and expand voice personalization models. We’re exploring clinical collaborations for trials and feedback.
