Inspiration

Cybersecurity threats are evolving rapidly, and traditional incident response teams often suffer from delay during critical server breaches or downtime. We created NeuroSentinel AI to bridge this gap by building an autonomous, self-healing cyber defense agent capable of real-time intrusion triage, threat intelligence gathering, and automated remediation.

What it does

NeuroSentinel AI acts as a 24/7 autonomous SOC (Security Operations Center) Analyst:

  • Real-time Log Monitoring & Triage: Constantly scans system logs and flags suspicious behavior in milliseconds using NVIDIA Nemotron Super/Nano.
  • Deep Reasoning & Incident Analysis: When a threat is detected, NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Ultra performs deep forensic reasoning to analyze attack vectors and generate an immediate remediation plan.
  • Live Threat Intelligence: Integrates Tavily API to search global vulnerability databases (CVEs) for real-time threat context.
  • Automated Sandbox Remediation: Generates and tests security patch code inside Nebius Token Factory Sandboxes before executing fixes safely.

How we built it

  • AI Infrastructure & Models: Powered by Nebius Token Factory serving NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Ultra (for complex reasoning) and Nemotron Nano/Super (for fast log filtering).
  • Live Search Integration: Used Tavily Search API to query live threat databases and cybersecurity feeds.
  • Agentic Framework: Orchestrated using Nebius Serverless Jobs and Endpoints for background analysis and real-time execution.

Challenges we faced

  • Balancing inference speed and reasoning depth during active brute-force attacks. We solved this by routing fast triage calls to Nemotron Nano and deep forensic reasoning to Nemotron 3 Ultra.
  • Ensuring safe execution of automated patch scripts in isolated Nebius Sandboxes without disrupting server uptime.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Building a full end-to-end agentic pipeline that reacts to zero-day attack simulations within seconds.
  • Achieving high-accuracy live vulnerability lookup using Tavily API integrated into NVIDIA Nemotron's tool-calling workflow.

What we learned

  • Harnessing NVIDIA Nemotron open-source models on Nebius high-performance GPU infrastructure for low-latency agentic applications.
  • Structuring multi-model routing for specialized cybersecurity tasks.

What's next for NeuroSentinel AI

  • Expanding support for cloud-native Kubernetes cluster monitoring.
  • Integrating multi-agent defense collaboration across enterprise networks.
