From Waiter to Web Dev — My AI-Powered Journey Just a few months ago, I was working as a waiter, dreaming of something more. I didn’t come from a traditional tech background, but I had the drive. What I didn’t have — yet — was a roadmap.

That changed when I discovered the power of AI. Over the past 2–3 months, I’ve immersed myself in an aggressive self-learning phase, guided and supported by multiple AI tools and agents like ChatGPT, Claude, and now Bolt. These tools helped me break down barriers and learn how to design, build, and deploy full-stack apps — fast. This week, I landed my first real freelance dev project, and that moment alone made the entire journey worth it.

AI didn’t just help me learn. It changed my life trajectory.

About the Project NeuroNote is the product of that transformation. It's a PWA (Progressive Web App) built entirely inside Bolt, designed to be an AI-augmented productivity platform for both developers and no-code makers like me. It’s offline-first, syncs across devices, and includes a built-in AI assistant that helps you summarize notes, generate tasks, and stay productive.

This is the kind of tool I wish I had when I was starting out — something lightweight, fast, and helpful that could live in my browser or as an installable app. The idea was to merge powerful features like real-time sync (à la Notion), task tracking, and markdown note-taking with embedded AI capabilities — all while keeping it clean and responsive.

Inspiration The core inspiration behind NeuroNote was empowerment through simplicity. I didn’t want to build a bloated productivity suite. I wanted a focused workspace where ideas could flow, notes could be saved, and tasks could be tracked — enhanced by AI but not buried under complexity.

I was also heavily inspired by tools like Notion and Linear, but I wanted something that could work offline, load instantly, and be accessible to people just like me — beginners who want to create real tools and need just a little help from AI to get started.
