NEUROMANTECH
⚠️ Full hardware spec and architecture doc are being drafted separately. Every section marked TBD is not yet written. Do not treat stubs as spec.
Open, local-first biosignal infrastructure. High-fidelity EEG, EMG, and peripheral physiological telemetry, processed at the edge with 100% data sovereignty — no cloud uplink, by design.
What we're building
A local-first substrate for biosignal capture and processing:
- Device — TBD (form factor, channel count, sensor front-end)
- Firmware / DSP — TBD (edge signal conditioning, band extraction)
- SDK — TBD (local API for researchers and developers)
Hardware
TBD — full spec incoming.
- Sensor front-end — TBD
- ADC / sampling — TBD
- MCU / SoC — TBD
- Channels & sample rate — TBD
- Enclosure / connectivity — TBD
Firmware / DSP
TBD — full spec incoming.
- Band filtering: δ (0.5–4 Hz), θ (4–8 Hz), α (8–13 Hz), β (13–30 Hz), γ (30+ Hz)
- Local processing — TBD
- Zero-cloud telemetry — TBD
Software / SDK
TBD — full spec incoming.
- Local API — TBD
- Build / flash — TBD
- Research access — TBD
Principles
These are fixed and are not placeholders:
- Local-only processing. Raw biopotential never leaves the device loop.
- No cloud uplink. Telemetry is disabled by design.
- Open architecture. Reproducible hardware and software.
- Data sovereignty. 100% of captured data stays with the operator.
Roadmap
Mirrors the current build phases:
- [x] phase-0 — brand lock · DNS · github org (done)
- [ ] phase-1 — prototype · bench test · DSP firmware (in progress)
- [ ] phase-2 — dev seed · OSS SDK · research access (queued)
