The inspiration for NeuroLux came from the challenge of creating a website using only CSS - no JavaScript allowed. I wanted to push the boundaries of what's possible with modern CSS features while creating a compelling AI technology showcase that feels like a real premium product company.

The name "NeuroLux" combines "Neural" (representing AI/brain technology) with "Lux" (representing luxury and premium quality), perfectly capturing the essence of high-end AI products.

Challenges we ran into

1. Container Query Complexity

The biggest challenge was implementing container queries for product cards that needed to adapt to different container widths. Creating layouts that work in:

  • Wide containers (horizontal layout)
  • Medium containers (vertical layout)
  • Narrow containers (ultra-compact layout)
  • Extremely narrow containers (micro layout)

Solution: Created 4 different container query breakpoints with progressive typography and spacing scaling.

2. Extreme Responsiveness
