🧠 Inspiration

Technology should empower everyone, but for many, it creates more barriers than opportunities. NeuroBloom AI was born from personal experiences—watching a sibling with dyslexia struggle to navigate online resources and seeing an aging grandparent feel left behind in the digital world. These experiences made us realize that most technology is designed for the majority, leaving out those who need it most.

We wanted to change that. NeuroBloom AI is built to adapt to people, not the other way around—making technology truly accessible for everyone.

🚀 What it does

NeuroBloom AI is an AI-powered accessibility assistant designed to help neurodivergent individuals, people with disabilities, and the elderly engage with technology more easily. It offers:

🔹 Personalized User Interface – Adjusts layouts, fonts, and themes to match individual needs.
🔹 AI Reading & Writing Support – Text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and AI-generated summaries.
🔹 Enhanced Mobility & Visual Assistance – Smart screen readers, gesture-based navigation, and real-time captioning.
🔹 Elderly-Friendly Features – Voice-based controls, reminders, and simplified navigation.

🏗️ How we built it

🔹 AI & Machine Learning – Used NLP models for speech recognition, text processing, and adaptive learning.
🔹 Full-Stack Development – Built with React.js (frontend), Node.js (backend), and FastAPI (AI models).
🔹 Human-Centered Design – Prioritized simplicity, usability, and accessibility to make it intuitive for all users.
