Neuro-divergent (ND) friendly Chief of Staff Agent

This agent will serve as my personal neurodivergent friendly chief of staff advisor helping me make decisions, improve productivity and be creative. This can help individuals, teams or organizations.

I am inspired to build this agent to help Neurodivergent (ND) professionals like me become more organized, focused and creative. I have struggled with executive functioning challenges and I hope to use this agent to assist me. This can also be tailored to help teams, and organization.

The agent will supplement me as my sidekick advisor acting as my Chief of Staff managing my emails, tasks, priorities in my personal life, professional life and recreational activities. This agent will manage other agents in a multi-agent system.

How we built it

**Gemini" Cloud, Google ADK package (Python), and Antigravity IDE. Chose the Gitlab MCP server and connected the agents to Google workspace tools, Notion, Spotify etc.

Challenges we ran into: Knowledge and learning Python, google ADK framework, issues with Google API token shortages, Since this is my personal agent system data privacy, security is very important and I was not ready to host it in the cloud. It currently runs on my local host and also all its O-auth web connections to its tools are all local and so the solution for the moment will work only when my laptop is on and plugged in. When the laptop is turned off the agents go to sleep.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: Able to persevere, and try and test different Google AI Agent frameworks. Having a clear objective for the system, the architecture, intended design objectives and outcome made it clear to select the ADK framework route. I am new to learning Python but through Google tutorials, videos and help with my LLMs I was able to work through each component of the architecture, issues challenges and bugs systematically and build a multi-modal agent system that has potential to change how ND leaders like me operate. I am hoping to 10X my productivity with this solution! :)

What we learned: Learned the complexity of designing complex multi-modal, multi-agent architecture, the patterns and intended outcomes has to adapt to the real needs of the "user", not the other way around. In this case as a ND technologist who is high-functioning I needed a system that will 10X my productivity and limit my shortcomings. And I am using this system now everyday.

What's next for Neuro-divergent (ND) friendly Trip agents (Chief of Staff Agent, Executive Assistant, and Executive Coach) is to learn and train more using contextual training and learning from my behaviors, recognizing my limitations, and helping me overcome ND/ADHD executive challenges.
