Prevention of cyberbullying (leading cause of depression) through censoring potentially hurtful words and harassment in our safety-guaranteed social media/messanger app.

Inspiration: From seeing all the heart-stabbing news about depressed teenagers in connection to cyber bullying

What it does: Censors inappropriate messages and content which have the potential to inflict harm on receivers. As well, we integrated diagnosis for those who need mental support upon signing up for our app, and treatment as well, such as daily activity monitors and inspirational quotes.

How we built it: Through using different software such as Marvel, Balsamiq, Canva, and Photoshop, we were able to integrate a bit of each software into our final product, ultimately to make a usable and effective app.

Challenges we ran into: Coding was an issue that we had to work around to complete our final product, as two days were not enough for us to learn a new language. Furthermore, deciding on the software needed to complete this project was difficult to an extent as well.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: We are without a doubt, proud of learning new software such as Balsamiq, Canva and Marvel. This opportunity was a great learning experience, and that is what's most important to us.

What we learned: Not only did we learn how to use new software, but we also learned how to collaborate, and build upon our leadership skills.

What's next for NeuraText App: We definitely plan on continuing this app journey, using all our free time towards improving our app!
