Inspiration

The major reason for building this application was to improve the interview journey for both the recruiter and the candidate. What made me use this concept was the validation I got from a friend who is an Ex-Amazon recruiter, this was a major green light in setting up the minimum viable product (mvp)

What it does

NeuraTalent is a copilot that uses AI to improve the interview journey for both the recruiter and the candidate. The AI conducts interviews, which makes it easy to reach team achievements quickly with a high level of quality. It provides analysis and recordings to the recruiter and acts as an assistant to help scale and accelerate hiring.

How we built it

We took a mono repository approach for building the product. This means that the landing page has its own repo same for the dashboard and the interview environment. This way it's much more easier to write and maintain code on each of this repositories.

The tools that we used for building this application are Nextjs, Typescript, Prisma, MySQL, Shadcn, TailwindCSS and Gemini API.

We use Gemini API to generate interview questions based on the metrics provided by the recruiter and to analyse the result of the interview.

Challenges we ran into

Initially we wanted to use Google Vertex AI but due to cost and timeline of training the model we had to pivot to Gemini api (gemini pro) model which brought about an amazing experience for the application concept in general.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to launch the first co-pilot that will help organizations and Hiring managers to improve their overall experience and make it easier to find the right talent to work with.

What we learned

I learnt how to integrate Google gemini api into an application. We also learnt how to collaborate together as a team to build a product that is viable.

What's next for NeuraTalent

The next steps is to train our own model and improve the overall experience of the application and also setup our pricing model to test the market for consumer adoption.
