Inspiration
The need for a transparent and reliable solution to analyze counterparty risk inspired us to create NetZero. With businesses relying on incomplete or unverified data, we aimed to develop a platform that integrates diverse data sources to provide actionable insights and ensure trustworthy decision-making.
What it does
NetZero aggregates and analyzes data from multiple sources, including lawsuits, social media, and credit history, to evaluate counterparty risk comprehensively. It uses advanced AI models to summarize information, generate semantic scores, and present results with clear citations for transparency and reliability.
How we built it
We leveraged APIs, web scraping, and historical datasets to gather data on lawsuits, social media sentiment, and credit history. Using AI-driven tools like summarization models, we processed and summarized the data. FastAPI was used to build a robust backend, and the insights were visualized in an intuitive user interface to ensure usability and clarity.
Challenges we ran into
Initially, obtaining real-time credit data was a challenge due to API limitations and restricted access. We resolved this by using historical datasets to ensure consistency and relevance. Additionally, handling unstructured data from different sources required significant preprocessing and validation to maintain data quality.
Accomplishments that we’re proud of
We successfully built an end-to-end solution that integrates diverse datasets and provides a unified view of counterparty risk. Our platform delivers transparent analyses, precise scores, and well-cited results, ensuring users can trust the insights. Overcoming data access challenges and ensuring seamless integration of AI models were significant achievements.
What we learned
This project deepened our understanding of multi-source data aggregation, legal and credit data nuances, and the importance of transparency in risk analysis. We also gained valuable experience in developing scalable, AI-powered solutions and handling unstructured data from various domains.
What’s next for NetZero
What’s next for NetZero
Next, we plan to integrate additional data sources, such as environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics, to expand the scope of risk analysis. We also aim to enhance our AI models for improved sentiment analysis and real-time scoring. Furthermore, we will collaborate with reputable paid services to provide users with direct access to comprehensive datasets, eliminating the need to rely on multiple platforms or websites for their analyses.
