Inspiration We were inspired by a problem that we face in our real life; social media greatly affects our generation and it has genuinely affected our mental health. We wanted to create a website that allows you to stay connected with the real world and its events without constant doomscrolling.
What it does: Our Calendar shows you personalized events that perfectly fit in your schedule. It also provides AI insights to build your confidence when attending these events.
How we built it: Using React (javascript, HTML, CSS) for the interface and Express and MangoDB for data handling
Challenges we ran into: We had different backgrounds and we had to learn to work together while having different levels of coding: we’re all beginners however in different languages which made that a challenge
Accomplishments that we're proud of: We learned new skills by collaborating on the same code source and accomplishing a base of our model.
What we learned: We learned to work together and overcome difficulties. We learned to listen to eachother while agreeing on an Idea and making this project come together.
What's next for Network Navigator : We want to make it into an App and also expand our network via marketing
