Inspiration

The corruption on the traditional market, and the possibility to connect the markets into a secure and reliable way, inspired us to provide a collaborative network infrastructure built with Blockchain technology, because, it accomplishes all the features we need. We decided to create it as an open source project that the community could maintain.

What it does

Distribute and connect Peer to Peer markets in a standardized network to provide the best communication between peers, allowing a better relationship within the users, suppliers and markets.

How we built it

With Hyperledger Blockchain Technology, Fabric framework, composer-cli*server, and NodeJs; Go and Python as languajes.

Challenges we ran into

  • It was time consuming not knowing that the latest versions of NodeJs were not fully integrated to Hyperledger.
  • The cache management made it hard to connect the local machines with the .BNA files created in Hyperledger composer.
  • Another challenge is the lack of documentation to integrate this type of marketplaces with third-party API services, but even so, we managed to have a breakthrough to integrate BITSO, a popular Mexican criptocurrency exchange.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

That we worked as teammates and managed to create a functional project where each member knew how to contribute to the development.

What we learned

We learned the advantages of working with a diverse group such as diversity of opinions, ideas and implementations of solutions.

What's next for Typern network

  • In a future we will look to improve the integration with some services like "BITSO" (or another Crypto exchange) to get API integrations and use their Cryptocurrencies to currency converter.
  • Try to be an a complete "Open Source" Network.
