Inspiration

As avid gamers and lovers of blockchain tech, it was only natural that creating a decentralized marketplace for games and gamers would come about.

What it does

NeroVerse provides gamers with a place to buy, sell and trade NFT game assets. NeroVerse itself will also provide these gamers with a place to interact with their NFT game assets online.

How we built it

Our front-end is made with React and we interface with the Solana blockchain and a Substrate blockchain called GamePower Network.

Challenges we ran into

Choosing a blockchain to build on was our biggest challenge. With the high gas fees on most blockchains or the lack of transaction throughput on others, We needed to find the right place to launch our game focused project. Solana ended up being that blockchain.

The Web3 Foundation recognized us with the completion of a grant milestone.
Our Discord community has grown to 7,000 users

What we learned

We've learned that community comes first when building any type of project on the blockchain. By growing our community we've received so much valuable feedback that we wouldn't have gotten working in isolation.
