Technical Details

We used a multi-server architecture using Node.js server for scheduling mails via SMTP and a Django server for fetching latest research papers from IEEE like sites using XHR Requests according to the user preferences and a React based frontend Dashboard with email verification sign up. We learned a lot about communication among servers running on different ports via APIs. It's our first time using Django for any project. We are a team of two and it's the first hackathon of one of our teammate. We enjoyed a lot while working together and learning new things.

We in future plan to extend this project further making the searching of papers more advanced and user specific which is sacalable as well.
