Inspiration

Nepal's official calendar is the Bikram Sambat. Sometimes, you need to coordinate with people who only use the Bikram Sambat.

What it does

It tells you today's date in Bikram Sambat.

How I built it

I used Alexa Presentation Language to show the display which is an image which displays the date in Bikram Sambat.

Challenges I ran into

It was easier for me to create an image and plaster it all over the screen than to use APL to display the text.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am proud of using a simple solution that we can keep up to date simply by updating a spreadsheet.

What I learned

Don't over think it.

What's next for Nepal Daytimer

The next step is to add Nepal Sambat, which is a lunar calendar.
